Jaggery Tea or ‘Gud Ki Chaai’

Jaggery Tea or ‘Gud Ki Chaai’
  • 2 tsp Tea Leaves
  • ¾ cup water
  • 2 tsp Jaggery Powder
  • ½ cup Milk
  • ½ tsp pinch of Ginger Powder or Fennel seeds
  • 2 crushed Cardamoms

Method:
Take a saucepan and boil water along with ginger powder, cardamoms and tea leaves. After 4 minutes, add ½ cup milk and simmer for a few minutes. Next, add jaggery powder, strain the tea into a cup, and serve hot.
